I have followed previous COP summits and am honoured to participate in this year's Christian Climate Observers Program. I have been involved in climate justice activities in Canada for nine years, and am a founding member of Earthkeepers: Christians for Climate Justice. Earthkeepers is an ecumenical group based in the West Coast of Canada, where we focus on climate education amongst Christians, mobilise civic action, and contribute to the larger climate dialogue in Canada. Throughout the conference, I will be updating this space with a view to bringing forth perspectives from a Canadian Christian perspective.
